All the ells and joints on the 30-inch pipeline, whose installation operations started in Khorramshahr, help complete the operations and export gas from Salman field, ISNA quoted the company as saying.

As to the export sector of the field, the Salman project deputy Banaii stipulated that the flooding operations from Sirri to Mobarak have come to an end and after spools installation the testing and delivery of the pipeline will begin.

Furthermore, 86 percent of basic and detailed engineering, purchase, pipe coating, and seabed pipe correction has been done, indicating the project is making progress according to the timetable set by contractors, OIEC and Amid Company, he boasted.

Pipe laying and coating operations are for the first time performed by the Iranian Offshore Engineering and Construction Company (IOEC) with the aim of boosting the capacity and performance of the Sirri-Mobarak pipeline.
