ABSTRAK

The paper takes stock of my previous paper with some updated issue “How to manage Corrosion Problem with Protective Coatings” presented during seminar”Peningkatan Profesionalisme Tenaga Ahli dan Praktisi Dalam Bidang Korosi Di Indonesia Agar Dapat menjadi Tuan Rumah di Negeri Sendiri” held in Bandung on 28 February 2002, the finding of which have been used as guideline to prevent Corrosion. People involvement and motivation can be concentrated in a task force. A review of operating plants and anticorrosion achievements efficiency is reported. Trustworthy solutions able to extend equipment lifetime are discussed along the proceeding.
